Pathways & Support Workshop: Empowering Our Community
House of Sakinah recently hosted a successful Pathways & Support workshop, focused on helping community members better understand Centrelink services, payments, and eligibility.
The session brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds in a supportive and welcoming space, where participants were guided through key aspects of navigating Centrelink. From understanding available payments to learning how to check eligibility and access essential tools, the workshop provided practical knowledge that attendees can apply in their daily lives.
A key highlight of the session was breaking down complex information into simple, accessible guidance. Participants also gained a clearer understanding of important resources such as concession cards and the Medicare cardβensuring they are better equipped to support themselves and their families.
Beyond information, the workshop created an opportunity for connectionβallowing attendees to ask questions, share experiences, and feel reassured that support is available.
